Everyone that works here is super friendly, ready to help out if you've never been here. The location is currently under construction but everything inside is running smoothly. You need to check in if you're dining in but the bakery is walk-in service. We had a late lunch so we sat for a while but hit up the bakery on the way out... I had the pastrami melt and it was great, wife had the Chicken Alfredo and her review was just like mine, great! I did have some of her plate and I'll agree, it was pretty dang good! The carrot cake is crazy good here, the some cheese pastries are perfect for the drive home. Tried the chocolate fudge cake today, awesome, obviously very rich and sweet.
I have to choose the place for lunch during our summer staff meeting. Since I wanted a good impression, I chose this place. I haven't been in since the change, but it's beautiful. You updated everything. It's a bit loud with the open plan, but nice atmosphere. We waited a bit for a table. We came there at 11:30 and there was a ton of people waiting to sit. You do NOT take reservations. It's funny that we had 8 people and 6 of us ordered a salad. They all looked delicious and I ate every bite. You have a decent menu and many options. Can't wait to go back with my friends!
We ate at the restaurant side on St. Patrick's day. We were seated outside under the tent. And they decorated the tent area really well! We sat in actual chairs and not folding ones! The staff was friendly and very attentive. The menu has a decent selection of foods to choose from. My Dad and I had the corned beef sandwich. It was delicious! There was a decent amount of corned beef loaded on, but could use just a smidge more ?. We can wait to go back again and try other items on the menu.
Honestly love what to do with the place, the place is currently still being rebuilt, but come big. Reminds me of a more luxurious postage?s. Anyway, let's go to dinner, I had the Monte Cristo and I was a little decisive, but in the end it was a great choice. Fried sandwich with all meat and cheese with a hint of sugar powder on top. The remodeled Katella Deli looks fantastic. The food was very good and the service was above par. I want all of our local businesses to do well. Ordered the Chicken breast melt sandwich and it was very tasty, but customers expect a little more chicken in the sandwich than what was provided, see photo. Not many return patrons if this the new standard. Sad...
My favorites are pastrami sandwiches and bakeries. It has a beautiful ambience. It has 3 sections: Pastries/Bakey Shop, Deli Shop and the restaurant. In the bakery/bakery shop and Deli shop you can get take-home goods. For the restaurant you can order in the menu. There is also a bar in the middle of the restaurant. Definitely recommend.
Amazing food and drinks! Great service! Fun, light, relaxed atmosphere. The ox is delicious. The Wake Me Up is liquid candy, and the Irish coffee is different than anyone I've ever had? I wish I had room to try more things, but I think best if I get back to the area.
