I requested the oil be removed from my scallion pancakes, it looked and taste absolutely disgusting. I could understand if I didn’t ask kindly the oil be drained (for health reasons) The “Rock shrimp” was a even worse the oil drenched my fingers i felt the oil down the inside of my throat every swallow. The worst food I have ever ordered in NYC and a waste of money!
Honestly drove 15 minutes to attend here for all you can eat sushi to find out that although they said they do it over the phone… to find out in person they don’t. Menu isn’t accurate, try to order something that clearly says it includes certain items just to be told by waiter it doesn’t. Everything was sub par, how this place has such high ratings is astonishing.
We ordered delivery from Kawa a couple of nights ago. The food got here surprisingly quick. Though, when we ate it, it was really underwhelming. The soup was Luke warm, the sushi tasted gamey, the Kani salad was actually gross and the hibachi lacked flavor. Not to mention it was pricey. I doubt I’ll ever order from there again.
We’ve gotten take out about 3 times. We’ve had the Lexus, Volcano and Jaguar rolls. All absolutely delicious. I live about a half hour away, and it’s always perfect when we get back. Will definitely be back. And, we used a Groupon so it’s a great value. They’re always courteous. Book a table now
The food was pretty good, service is excellent! Sashimi is $3 more but worth it. Will go back.
