we have eaten in some twickenham’s restaurants and had a few great meals, but I think that must be the best and surely one of the best Japanese restaurants outside central london. service is friendly and the dishes are quickly brought out and made with care. the menu offers not only sushi, but a large selection of authentic starters along with some nudel and bentobox dishes. we decided to order several smaller dishes and a few sushi, so we can taste more of the menu. the otopus legs with seaweed were with those I had in japan, the chicken carage (lightly roasted chicken) was superb and tender, the slightly roasted tofu in broth was tender and tasty and all the sushi dishes were fresh and ver...
This small, family run place is the antithesis of a certain chain of sushi restaurants in that the food is made to order, right in front of you. The chef is Japanese and, although a bit shy, he is obviously pleased to see you. The real tip off that it's good is that it is often full of Japanese people (more than the aforemantioned chain can say), that there's no non-Japanese food on the menu and there are photos of the dishes to aid selection, as is dine in Japan. Freshly made, beutifully presented food in a homely, unpretentious setting.
Visited for the very first time for a quick lunch and I must admit that the service was excellent and the food was delicious! I've ordered a bento box with chicken and sashimi and honestly, it tasted amazing. I really like this restaurant and the fact that it's not a chain makes it even more special. I shall be back for more, perhaps in the evening so that way I can take my time and try other things on the menu.
my partner and I go quite regularly for miso and sashimi or katsu curry. she lived in japan for some time and testifies the authenticity of the food. I always liked sushi and it is handmade in front of home to her order. the menu is quite large and it is always nice to get and iiban (beer) in the evening. the service is always very fast.

I was for the first time in a Japanese restaurant in england, where Japanese people serve and prepare instead of Korean. After 16 months of living in japan, this can really capture the subtle eating japans! the ikura was exceptional. Lachs-Roh . the maguro was not red coloured. the tamago was not dry. eier. domo arigato gozaimasu.
A brilliant visit to an authentic Japanese restaurant. Fresh sashimi and a wide variety of dishes, including nasu dengaku and natto hoso maki. Food that made my whole family happy. If you want Japanese food prepared by a master Japanese chef, then I highly recommend going to Ke Sushi.
A first visit since lockdown was lifted and we should have gone sooner. It was as excellent as it has always been and the lunch menus are a bargain. One thing is that it could be neater inside. The walls and decor could do with a quick lick of paint. But top marks on the food.

very nice little sushi restaurant. tasty, reasonable prices. I love her green tee ice cream with red borons, tamago sushi and the ? oyako sushi!
We came with our Daughter today. Food was excellent! Taste of Japan! Brought best memories for us!
