I must point out that I was re-introduced to Ken's Diner Grill within Facebook group (Vegan Chicago) where Ken's Diner shared a post stating that it will be open on the 4th of July, offering you mouthwatering Vegan hamburgers and hotdogs. I thought to myself, offering mouthwatering Vegan hamburgers and hotdogs? Mmm, now you are speaking my language. And it was then I made plans to make the drive to Skokie on the 4th of July, Independence Day. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. Family friendly restaurant. The staff is very friendly and family owned. I would highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing lunch and friendly atmosphere. It’s like sitting around your family and hearing all the conversations and enjoying awesome food. I’m personally not a vegan or vegetarian but I try everything. Their vegan chili is excellent. If you’re not a vegan I recommend giving it a try. You won’t know the difference. Thank you to the owners and team for making my experience awesome. If you don’t try Ken’s Diner then you have missed out on an excellent experience with great food.
Wish I could give more than five stars. Just want to start by saying that everyone genuinely treats you like family from the first time that you come in. Besides being my favorite kosher restaurant, as someone who grew up not keeping kosher, this is one of the only places that not only competes with, but easily beats non-kosher competitors. The burgers are next level. The pastrami is next level. Honestly pretty much everything I've had here is phenomenal.
Ken's is the best kosher place might be the best restaurant it is my favorite place in the world. They're now making other foods such as baked beans which are just incredible. They have a pound burger without the bread mixed in with the fixins from a Italian beef sandwich that is to die for. I love Ken's. And there's a parve shake that is incredible also.

Honestly, you can't go to Chicago without stopping at Ken's on your way in. The food is just so good, the aesthetic of the restaurant is perfect and the staff are extremely accommodating.
Nice atmosphere, friendly and patient helpful staff. Food came quickly and was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place and come back.
The staff is very nice, and they have a separate clearly labeled vegan menu. They even have vegan milkshakes!
