Always drove by this place and finally a chance to try it out. It is metered street parking. The restaurant is pretty much self-serve everything. You order first at the register then they will seat you. When we got there, there was a line and waitlist. We only had to wait about 15 minutes on a Saturday, which wasn't bad. After ordering, it took about 15-20 minutes until our food came out. They have a self-serve table at the entrance. Here you can find water, sauces, bibs, plates, napkins, utensils, and togo boxes. Most tables do have a sauces rack. People who order Togo can grab everything they need here. They do have gloves but the waiter has to bring it. They do not have any crab crackers...

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time since discovering seafood boils and was absolutely disappointed. Surprisingly, they were open on Memorial Day and it wasn't too packed. The overall interior was clean, bright, and welcoming. But gave off high-school cafeteria vibes. We placed an ordered for a fried shrimp basket and also a seafood boil. The fried shrimp basket came quickly and was actually quite flavorful. I would rate it a 4/5. When the seafood boil came and they opened the bag, all I could smell was garlic. I'm from California, and I eagerly awaited four months to dine at King Cajun. The wait was absolutely worth it! Everything was delicious, served hot, and cooked to perfection. This was my first time trying soft shell crab, and all I can say is OMG! As you can see from one of the missing crab legs, I couldn't resist starting my meal before snapping a photo. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I truly appreciate a clean environment. Without a doubt, this is the best seafood crab boil I've ever experienced! I plan to eat at King Cajun regularly. Parking is also great, with plenty of options available.
This place is awesome! We got 1 lbs of crawfish, extra spicy with the king cajun seasoning(my favorite) and then the other one was the $22 plater. Honestly it is top notch seafood boil in minnesota!! the inside was clean and they have everything you need to get down! Although street parking was limited you will have to park in the neighborhoods and walk. No reservations unless more than 5 people as well. Place is nice, friendly, and helpful !
I have to say, this is one of the best dining experiences I've had at any restaurant! The staff was incredibly attentive, respectful, and professional. Place looks like a dump from the outside and the seating is cramped inside. But the food is VERY good. If you do t like sitting next to strangers, get it to go!
