We felt very welcomed and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and a pleasant experience. They have real casino slot machines and four large TVs showing sports. After my review back in 2014, things started going down. While the food remained good, the service became horribly slow. I think the main reason was the slow turnaround in the kitchen. On our latest (and last) visit there today, it took a half hour just to get our appetizer. And after an hour, our main meal. And it wasn't because they were busy. Other than a few folks at the bar, my wife and I were the only ones in the place. I really wish this place could be better. It is located conveniently close to our home and would be a great place to stop in for a quick bite. I'm sad at how poorly run this place has become.
We drove out to Blackberry's last weekend , we loved it ... Not only was the food very very good, but we loved Danille , she was the sweetest server .. She helped us both select perfect lunches... My husband had a cheeseburger (excellent I had the best homemade pork tenderloin sandwich since the 1950's at A W ..: They also have homemade potato salad homemade coleslaw .. again, excellent.. We will head out there soon just to enjoy the backroads the restaurant.. You may want to check out the local farms to bring home fresh produce...lots to choose from .. Ciao ciao
Great little place with amazing black Angus burgers! The staff is kind and patient and there is a great variety of beer on tap! The burgers are soft and just melt in your mouth. Request the brown ale mustard! I got the slaw and it was a great side option for watching carbs! The atmosphere is simple and clean. It was friendly and comfortable with fun programming on the television. Will be back!!

I recently went to this restaurant for a fish fry and had a disappointing experience. The service was slow and of poor quality, and they were out of several items we tried to order, from salad dressing to fish. The kids were given cold mac and cheese, which we had to return. Overall, the food seemed like it was frozen and not fresh. I would not recommend wasting your time at this place.
I just recently returned as a customer. New owners in 2012. Old owners sucked the life out of this place ever so slowly...step by step...inch by inch...shut the front door! I 've been back several times and the food quality is back to its hey day! This is the perfect spot for a casual dinner and a 16 ounce PBR. This is a bar, not a restaurant...remember that!
Have you tried their wings?! They are amazing! And don't forget about the Reuben sandwich. The burgers and pork tenderloin are also must-tries. Unfortunately, we have heard that the restaurant is closing due to a claim of imminent domain by the state. It is a historic establishment that is a staple in the area. It is truly a shame to see it go.
If you want a pork tenderloin as big as your head, this is the place. I've heard about this place for years and finally got here for lunch one day. Had cheese curds which were excellent. Dove into the pork tenderloin sandwich which was beat down and fried perfectly, topped with grilled onions. Perfect prices!

1/2 pound burgers delicious! Big, thick and juicy. Well worth the drive to Elburn. Driven by this place for years and finally decided to go. Husband had the Rueben and he said it's the best one he's had in years.
Amazing food! Usually not too busy, so food comes up fast. A great place to stop for a bite to eat.
