Their food is just basic fry food that should not be as highly priced as it is. They do have a burger that tastes okay but its just a general burger and shouldn't be $15!! The guy that regularly serves you has no customer service skill and acts as though you are a nuisance to his day, not to mention he will usually be out back and make you wait for 5 minutes before hand.The drinks are priced around 5 dollars which is more expensive than a b.p servo. You'll usually get old bain heated food unless they are busy.Just because they are on a beach doesnt give them the right to rob you.
The man behind the counter was very blunt and couldn't smile, also charged two (out of four) of us more than what the board added up to be. Also my friend asked for food off the menu but wasn't in the bain-marie and he wouldn't make it, pointing at the bain-marie with his tongs as if the few dim sims and potato cakes were all that there was to choose from. My friend was very disappointed as he had heard the flake was good from there. A little disappointed with how he treated us as customers.
I've been here a couple of times over the last 3 years, portion sizes are significantly smaller every time. Be careful of how much he charges you as the last two times I've been, I've been overcharged. Food is hit and miss, well over or under cooked and everything in the fridges is overpriced. Do you reckon it would kill the guy to smile or talk to you? Fine for a quick take away if you're in the area but don't expect much.
When you wait over an hour for simple fish and chips for two adults and 4 small children. Crappy comes to mind.Kids fish and chips meals consisted of two pieces of fish and chips for $6 and an adult version had one extra fillet and the price is $10.....the chips are severely dry and the fish is slimy aka frozen fish not fresh at all. Not to mention NOTHING on the menu is gluten free.Would not recommend.

Very nice on a fri evening after a busy day. The staff always friendly and havnt had a bad lot of fish and chips yet. The batter always crunchy as well as the yummy chips. A must try and eat on seats outside or across the road on tables. This prevents the fish and chips getting soggy before getting home. Nothing nicer than being able to eat with fingers. Taste delicious.
Regularly go to this place for coffee and takeaways. Staff are friendly and for takeaway burgers or fish and chips, the food is mostly fresh and tasty. Situated right on the beautiful kingston beach, the location and atmosphere is ideal for those warm sunny days.
Stopped here for a quick coffee stop . Amazing location opposite the beach . Had a a very ordinary coffee but food other people were eating looked good.
On a wet Thursday afternoon scrummy fish & chips at our local takeaway. This takeaway is well priced and always busy and I can see why!
