Came here after work. Too lazy to look at the menu and pointed at one of the models and said: "can I have this?" The waitress burst into laughter: "this is not real". I know they are not real. But I always thought they are a 3D menu, lol. When I finished eating and tried to pay for the bill with my card, I was told that they only took card for spending more than 20 dollars, otherwise there would be 1 dollar charge. A restaurant with so many customers charging like this is wired. Luckily the lovely waitress helped me to count all my coins. Next time when I accumulate a lot of coins, I know where to go. The real noodle is a bit bland, especially after seeing the nice models -:).

Have eaten here a few times, most recently with a couple of friends. A nice cosy Restaurant, friendly staff and really nice food. Some of the nicest Japanese fare available in Sydney. We had the Sushi Boat, tempura prawns and vegetables, and crumbed scallops. The Sushi is freah and plentiful, the prawns very crisp and also quite sizeable. All on all, a really nice meal and quite reasonably priced considering the amount of seafood we ate. We spent about $35 a head with beers, and I am more than happy with that. Highly recommend a visit.
Great variety of Japanese dishes unfortunately poor quality preparation.Sushi nori(seaweed) was moist and difficult to eat. Tempura over fried with batter far too oily and thick. Overall very disappointing. The only reason we rated this Poor and not Terrible was that when we complained on the quality of the sushi the chef did try prepare the dish again. Sadly the low quality ingredients led to the same poor quality food.Walk on by - this is why you read Tripadvisor (wish we had).
My family and I had dinner here last night and found the service to be really good (although all the mains came out before the starters), but the let down was the food. The Okonomiyaki was average, the tofu below average, the tempura udon was completely without flavor and consisted of udon with boiled vegetables and tempura on the side. My wifes salmon was really nice and was the star of the evening. Will probably go elsewhere next time. Book a table now
Came here late at night after a 14 hour work shift - famished. Got the kinjo bento (the biggest one available) and really enjoyed it and left content. I think the other boxes would have been too small. Lovely teriyaki chicken, fresh sashimi. Tempura sauce could have been a bit more flavorsome and the price could be a bit less expensive. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant. Overall a good feed.
Very odd to give a discount for paying cash. Take away took 15 mins and it was a simple order. Nice food. Well wrapped. Sushi was sliced too thin. Servings were on the small side with a lot of salad to fill the space. Two mains with soup for under $30 is pretty cheap.
I have been back twice since my last review and its not as good as it used to be. Its still ok, but not a place you would rave about.I wish they had not changed the menu, especially around the bento box.The chef must have changed, as the food is a little different.
We have come here many times. the bento box is great. They have taken off the wasabi, so you have to ask for it. The orange slice has also been removed. It is a pity that they take away some of the items from the bento box and charge more for it Book a table now
ignore the blown up pictures of sashimi and the dalmatian goldfish on the wall, the food is actually pretty dependable at this joint, though clearly not run by Japanese people. the bentos are pretty good value too.
Went for sushi and had a variety. The veggie rolls were not good but the rest was ok. The servers really hover over you watching you as you eat. I found it creepy.
