A cold wet day in Brisbane and we fancied something spicy for lunch so my partner decided on Kinn Thai at Garden City. Arriving at 12.15pm most restaurants in the area were empty while there are almost 20 diners in Kinn Thai.
We are met at the front by a polite waitress and we are impressed by the design and decor of this restaurant. Ice water and menus are provided within a minute and all wait staff are courteous and converse fluently in English. Most Chinese restaurants in Brisbane can learn this valuable lesson from Kinn Thai.

Very beautiful resto with lots of magnificent thai details and I could not stop taking photos.
My mom been here before and this time she wanted to treat us. She ordered the dishes that she knew were delicious:
1. Prawn tom yum soup 4.5/5: fresh prawns with bold, spicy, yet refreshing broth. Highly recommended but be careful cause it really spicy
2. Grill pork ribs 3.5/5: Meat was tender and off the bone however I found the it a bit too sweet
3. Crab prawn rolls 4/5: not your ordinary spring rolls. This one use different wrap filled with crab meat and topped with plum sauce. Perfect starter....

Could not pick with restaurant to dine in so I just watched where the people were going, this was the only place full and with a queue to get in. Watched as waiter sat booked guest and luck a table emptied as I was...served and I managed a front table without a booking. How lucky was I as the venue and dishes coming out the kitchen looked and set good. Photos in menu looked exactly what was served. I ordered two entree's and one main with two glasses of fine red wine. The food was excellent and presented well, very polite staff. Will most certainly be back on my next visit to Brisbane

This is a very nice Thai restaurant. Food is always fresh and uniquely flavoured.
The soft-shell crab Papaya Salad is divine, as the Seafood Pad Cha among others.
The Tom Yum soup is generous with 3-4 large prawns, while the mushrooms are exotic and filling.
Service is quick, and the restaurant ambience is sociable, although patron noise can get a little loud.
The Slicy Noodles is preferred to the Pad Thai, which is just a tad bland.
This restaurant will please you with its authenticity in flavours above all.
I have eaten here twice and both times thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be heading back. The service is impeccable and the meals arrive quickly. The food is fresh and tasty and if you like heat this is your place. It is also good...value for the price. I would also recommend the Mai Tai it is yum! If you want a certain time I would book we went on a Wednesday night and there was a line up when we were leaving and this is a decent size restaurant.
I don't know if they serve so quickly because they are super efficient or because they try and turnover customers as quickly as possible. I had my usual soft shell crab in chilli jam and my partner had the lamb shanks. Always a good meal...with fast service and the red angel drink is well worth including a carafe equivalent of about extra glasses.
Great ambience and service. Good option of curries, stir fries and noodles. However, out of all the dishes we ordered only one really stood out. As for the rest of the meal, it was sweet, including the curries. I did enjoy the crying beef.

This is our favourite Thai place. Great atmosphere, swift service and delicious food! Food is always consistent and never fail to impress. Very reasonable priced too!
The food here is always amazing, and there is always something a bit unique that sets this restaurant apart from other Thai restaurants.
