Kinton Ramen 3 - Table reservation

First, eating here is what you call family style - you actually share your table with others (there is not a ton of seating here), so if you are looking for a private place to talk this is NOT the place. There are some bar type seats which seem to offer a bit more privacy but come prepared to eat with a stranger right next to you. I found it a fun place to eat and I think it is fun to meet and talk with other people. The food is very good and I have always found it filling. I would recommend that you get one with an egg in it - some come with an egg, but you can add one if it does not (for an extra $1.50). I enjoyed the pork bowl with soya sauce - very, very good. This was our first experience with a Ramen Noodle Restaurant, and we enjoyed the experience. The communal table did not deter us from selecting and appreciating the food from a fairly straightforward menu. The process is simple but effective.It was supposed to be a quick lunch for four but it was an opportunity to try something new and delicious. We'd do it again.

This is one of the better ramen joints in the city but its way too busy at lunch time. I suggest checking out Momofuku at the shang for better ramen and a better crowd.

Communal table eating, delicious ramen. The original pork version is the best. The veg ramen is a bit bland but authenticity veg broth. Highly recommend it.

Enjoyed the Ramen very much, service was ok. Soup was very tasty and not salty, ordered spicy pork with thin reman. Noodles were just right.
