Waited an hour for food that was inedible! Other patrons who came in after us got their orders before us, bacon was raw, eggs looked like someone had scraped the pan hard trying to get just over 1 egg which was supposed to be 2. Waiter was rude, snarky and needs to be fired but he's probably a relative of the owners. A large group came into the room next door and all the wait staff alabandoned us! The snarky waiter refused to refund my order, accusing me of eating off of it-when I informed him we won't be back he sarcastically said oh that's too bad-Trust me save your money, eat somewhere else! Kitchens is not the icon it once was!!
Well, I beat the long wait problem by going at an 'off ' hour. Omelet was terrible! Obviously pre-fabricated at another facility. Now get this; I had to put my fork on the biscuit and hit it with a knife to 'cut ' it. It 's a shame, Kitchens has been Mineola legend for decades but like all good things . . .
My wife and I enjoy coming to kitchens once a month when we are in town. Great food, great service, and we have never been disappointed on either. We highly recommend the club sandwich and the full breakfast. We look forward to steak night!
