We visited 3 times, with first and second visit being very impressed with service as well, and on the 3th visit we had a group of 8 of us, made the reservation with reception 2 days earlier requesting a window table, but on our arrival the waitress took us to a table of 8 in the middle of restaurant. We looked around the windows, and none of the window tables were reserved, so we asked her if we could have a window as we requested one , and none of the windows were reserved. We decided to stop into this Restaurant for dinner as we were walking past and I was glad that we did as it just ticked all the boxes.Staff was friendly and more than happy to help......they mentioned that the menu was different to that on line and had changed just recently but not being aware of that didnt matter.There were 2 or 3 courses that you could chose option a or b we chose b (3 courses) and added garlic bread i had scallops (3) and Sirloin Steak and Choc pudding. Let me just sum up that each meal was presented is a very modern and colourful fashion, if it was meant to be hot it was and the med/rare steak was exactly that. Had the buffet breakfast here and was glad I didn't waste my money on the accommodation with breakfast package. It's just not great - passable at best - I doubt anyone comes back a second time.fruit, toast and juice was good - so stick with the $13 continental breakfast if you feel a burning desire to try this place. We had a lovely meal here. Not a huge variety for vegetarians but the food was delicious and the service was very good. Wouldn't have been my choice out of all the choices in surfers paradise but it was close to our hotel and we got a discount from booking online so we weren't disappointed we went. Only down side is they close at 8.30 meaning the latest reservation is 7.30. We could have done with being 15-20 mins later but still. Good effort. Although my 10 year old wants me to point out he was offended by the spelling of 'koastal'..... I'm inclined to agree he has a point.....

Bubbly and amazing staff! The chef even prepared us an item of choice from the dessert menu during the afternoon before dinner service due to the poolside cafe/bar being closed.. food was quite yummy, however during breakfast buffet there wasn't a great deal of variety that you would expect with the price... the coffee was also cold.. and plates that hadn't been cleaned properly. Otherwise a great place to chill out and have something to eat or a few drinks. Staff are more than willing to engage in some entertaining conversation.
Booked last minute on Dimmi while staying at the Coast for magic millions. This restaurant was near our hotel- what a find! Menu was really nice, prices were great, and staff were super efficient and friendly. Our meals were delicious and generous. We at early (6pm) because we were going out after- and was surprised there were not more people. I would definitley go back again. The lemon risotto and grilled barramundi was great. There were lots of things i would like to try on my next visit.
The meal, service and prices were all very impressive. The fifth star is missing because there is a small step that is almost invisible in the evening lighting. I tripped going in, and an elderly lady had a heavy fall later. I was told we're far from the first. There is a sign on one side of the wall, but I certainly didn't notice it. This is unacceptable and must be remedied, A similar step on the other side of the restaurant has a ramp. Why do one and not the other?
During our hotel stay at Mantra Sun City, buffet breakfast was included all three mornings. Couldn't complain at all. There was cereals, fruits, pancake machine and a selection of hot brekky foods. The staff were wonderful and very on the ball when dirty plates and glasses/mugs had to be cleared. We also had dinner there on the Saturday night and the chef was wonderful. We wish there was more on the menu but what was there was cooked brilliantly. Thank You.

The venue is tired, a little like an over worked RSL yet I must say that those locals who were there were treated very well and received a warm welcome. The menu isnt all that great and the drink selection especially wine was average. Staff really friendly though.
