I am in Covington for roughly three weeks for work, and the place I keep wanting to return to is this one. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food. Whew, the food knocks my socks off every time. The sushi rolls are fantastic especially the godzilla roll, the hibachi is amazing, and their express rice bowls are one helluva bargain. Would recommend, and I will be sorry that I have to wait until October to be back in the area once this trip is over.
I'm Japanese and I stop by Covington about once a year for work. We happened to dine at Kobe last year and it was amazingly delicious. To be honest, it was the most palatable sushi I had in America. I couldn't forget the taste, so I stopped by Kobe again this year. I wish I could have this American style sushi in my hometown. My favorites are Maybach roll, Chirashi don and Gyoza. I will definitely come again!
I like the rolls with the rice on the outside. However, the Philly rolls that I have got twice already are not tight enough, so they fall apart. I have not said anything to them, but they still taste great to me. The ? that I order is a great deal. I usually get 2 rolls and a drink...$35 plus tip. Today was $20.30. Great deal if you ask me.
