We were seated promptly upon arrival at the restaurant, but unfortunately, no service staff came to take our order even after we asked 15 minutes later. The chef seemed rushed while cooking our food and ended up burning several of the meats we had ordered. Despite having notes, he struggled to remember which meat belonged to each person at our table. We had made special requests such as no vegetables but extra noodles, which he acknowledged but failed to fulfill. It felt as though he was rushing through the cooking process as quickly as possible. Overall, we were very disappointed and did not enjoy the experience as we had in the past.
The experience was not up to its usual standard. We were seated at a table that was part of a larger party next to us. We were the last to be seated and were not asked for our drink orders, instead just brought waters. My shrimp was overcooked and burnt in some spots, and I did not receive a birthday cupcake like everyone else. The rest of the food was decent but not as good as our previous visit. My husband enjoyed his meal of scallops and shrimp, however. It was a busy night, which may have contributed to the issues. Typically, everything at this restaurant is excellent, but unfortunately, we just chose the wrong night to dine there.
I’ve been to this location several times and unfortunately this time the food was not favorable at all and scallops were burnt. We came for a birthday celebration which we mentioned to the waiters upon our arrival but she did not bring out the cupcake until after the check and everyone at the table had left. Not what I expected and it was just not a very good look for the birthday girl.
