I've never been a fan of pastrami until I tried the killer pastrami at kohn's. the atmosphere to foot is inviting. they have made a huge kosher deli and bakery with most everything in the house. destined feels like one of the famous Jewish bakeries that they would find in nyc. I hope the new owners keep all their traditions and recipes alive and well. even if they are not crazy about pastrami, they give the killing pastrami a try, they are safe, pleasantly surprised.
my first experience was today for take-out, and kohns has the best pastrami I've ever tasted. kosher size killer pastrami is everything you need to get the warm fuzzies of a loving meat smuggling?
Pastrami sandwich and egg salad, wonderful. They were slammed yet efficient and courteous. Hope the new buyer can continue the spirit.
