Parking usually would be pretty tight, but this night, not a lot of people, so we were able to park directly in front. We came here pretty early, 530pm dinner reservation. Got there, they checked temperature, no wait and sat us right down. Staff was friendly as usual and worked with us with recommendations and orders. It was my mother in-law's birthday so we got the king crab. It was 9.5lb at $65 a lb. It wasn't really alive, but I got it anyways due to occasion. We also got baby pig sampler, Peking duck, bake sea bass, walnut shrimps, etc. King crab three way was just okay. Plenty of meat, but wasn't the tastiest. For thr price, I do expect better. The bake sea bass was chewy, the mushrooms...

Koi Palace has been a Bay Area staple for my family and many others who are celebrating something big like graduation, a wedding, a promotion, or a holiday. Koi Palace is known to be much pricier than the usual spots, but the decor and attention to service, as well as the quality of the food is up there in comparison . Essentially, you aren?t getting pink opaque soap or a greasy slippery floor. Now, I know many will say it?s overhyped or overpriced? and those sentiments I get as well. It?s just one of those places that?s nicer to go to, but you aren?t going every month unless you?re rolling like that. Many reviews I?ve seen giving it one star complain about the automatic 18% tip, some compla...

Lousy quality food and much overpriced for Dim sum. So Har gao is $8.50 letting you down? That's absurd. We've got 10 dishes and we've paid $70 for it. This is really expensive and the food wasn't even hot for the take-out. We have Har Gao, shui mai, Maligo (no Maligur), simple rice roll, shrimp rice roll, egg yolk lava beans, and Custard Ananas rolls, beef balls and roasted tofu. The rice rolls were a bit cold and this hard, although we drove a block home to eat it. I liked how the shrimps in the shrimp roll were very large. The egg yolk Lavabunker was cold and the supposed lava was bright and dry. The bread was hard. It is not worth buying the cost of Dim Sum here when everything you get i... Book a table now
We only ate here for the dimsum, but honestly everyone of what we ordered was very good. As a rule, we started with the sumai and hagao as a Litmus check that immediately got our stamp of approval. Next, the spare ribs, Casiubao, Xiaolongbao and Shanghai dumplings were super good. Baked Taro dumpling was brilliant, carrot/daikon cake was good as expected, lomaigai was perfection, also the chicken conge was thick and creamy. When desserts were sesame balls satisfying and durian puff was creamy and not exaggerated.
Good place for authentic Chinese food but worth the price? No. Fried rice was terrible, just stick with the basil fried rice. The cooked chicken was good and peking duck, but all you are looking for in a dimming sum is not there. They have no variety of veggie stir fry options and their pan roasted chow noodles was okay, not the largest. Tofu dish was bad
Great Cantonese food, in a restaurant that has kept up their standards. We had the duck (juicy), clam with noodles (fresh), fried tofu (soft, crispy), fried rice with veggies (delicious), Xiao long bao (perfect), and Ma po tofu (yum). The restaurant was a bit busy and short staffed, but the folks were friendly and did the best they could.
Private room on Saturday for dinner is really nice. Service was great. The pig is a special order. My favorite was the sea bass. We have 2 types of crabs and both were really good. It's cracked for you, so you don't need a cracker. My children love the soup dumplings, although there is no dinner time we order. Book a table now
Location in Daly City. It's worth the ride! Rice rolls, Siu mai, Kongee and Lotus gluing rice? everything was tasteful on site. Service is fine and we have a reservation online and came directly at the opening at 11 a.m. It'll be so early!
