So we visited Koko last night. Awesome to get a place last minute, sitting down for teppenyaki.The place is beautiful, the atmosphere great, and the cook and the food was beautiful....however was it worth $150 per person??The staff were hit and miss, overly attentative at some stages, and then left us sitting for ages at others.Desserts were served for some, while others had to eventually ask if we were getting dessert... the bill was given to some, others...well we waited$150 per person is the starting point, and to be honest, you are disgustingly full by the time you walk out.... I think for the location the atmosphere it is worth it however for the food alone...better off trying other gre...
Had the MOMIJI set for a birthday celebration. The standard was well below what one would expect for the price of $120 per head. The dishes tasted no better than the typical shopping centre Japanese restaurant. Service was good and ditto the ambiance, which is really what you're paying for.
