We had such a great experience on our first visit to KoPita that we decided to return this evening. The service was outstanding, and the food... it was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We ordered the Chef's Special, and every dish— the fresh salads, falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, kabobs, and cutlet—was absolutely delicious and mouthwatering. We rounded off our meal with a cup of coffee, and to top it all off, we enjoyed delightful company and conversation with Avi (the owner) and Amir over a lovely cup of mint tea. The restaurant is situated in a lovely location within the Embassy Suites. The food was delicious and very fresh, but it would have been helpful to have more clarity on the dish presentations. My friend ordered the Babaganoush bowl, anticipating a typical bowl filled with rice and vegetables, but instead received a large bowl of dip with pita on the side. Similarly, I ordered the falafel bowl and got a huge bowl filled with cucumber and tomato, topped with just six falafel. Despite this, the food was excellent, and the portions were generous. I would definitely return to try something more traditional, like the pitas.
Well, this place is legit!! If you’re familiar with a Mediterranean cuisine, especially Israeli dishes flavors, and you know what to expect, you probably had some disappointments trying different places, but I can tell you that this place is a 100% bliss. All the salads were fresh and correctly seasoned. The falafel is one of the or THE best I ever had! And I had quite a few ? now the pita bread… OMG like a pillow or a cloud ready to accommodate all that goodness!!! and for the main course the kebab pita is not to be missed!!! Just go!!
Whenever I visit Knoxville, I make it a point to stop by this restaurant. They serve the best well-balanced vegan shawarma made with soy curls, and I also enjoy their sabich (I prefer it without the egg). Their baba ganoush and hummus are truly authentic Middle Eastern—creamy and smooth. Everything else my dining companions ordered was also excellent. Book a table now
Amazing staff, extremely friendly and welcoming of our table. Went above and beyond with their service. The food was spectacularly delicious!We had the kefta pita and had leftovers! Definitely try the baklava dessert, it’s minimal but a good palate cleanser. Perfect to get just a small amount of sweetness to satisfy.
Fresh and flavorful food at really great prices. There are lots of great vegetarian options, but also good meet options as well. The chicken schnitzel meal is an amazing deal at $20. Very nice restaurant with healthy options to be inside a hotel.
This restaurant is fantastic! Everyone is cheerful, which makes dining here a delightful experience. I enjoyed the lamb lollipops, kabob on pita, and chicken liver hummus. Highly recommend!
