Xihuahua and I had many Malaysian food experiences so we thought this would be similar. But there are subtle differences from Singaporean food. It had fusion elements from many places of Asia.<br/ <br/ I especially enjoyed you spicy clams. The rich sauce was perfect. Omelette with oysters is my fav too, the highlight is the crispy crust at the bottom. Indian pancake is a bit too tough for my liking and the curry beef although has inconsistent texture. <br/ <br/ Staff is quite negligent as we felt very ignored trying to order. The staff just rather stare into the void. Free fruit at the entrance is pretty cool. Overall a very delicious try!

Who's a big fan of Singaporean Crab? I check out popular chain Kreta Ayer for the full Singaporean food experience. Have you been to Kreta Ayer before?. MW and I wonder into Chatswood Chase and see a busy stream of people outside Kreta Ayer. We head into this Singaporean chain and I make a conscious thought to visit the Eastwood store as it's closer next time. It's full of people which creates a nice buzz at 12pm on this public holiday. Decent food. Ok service Hainan chicken rice is okay chicken could be more tender and rice is a bit hard could be cooked longer. The combination laksa is a good portion and comes with prawns, tofu, meatball, dumpling, chicken. Costs about $18 each. Hot soya drink was delicious sweet and very hot. Fair number of tables inside. Service is quick although have to ask for water a few times.

The best Laksa in town, very large portion. I chose salted egg crab this time, very delicious. Vegetable is fresh and spicy which warm me up. The order-to-make bean curb pudding gave the dinner a complete one. Definitely will visit again!
