We came in with our 3 week old and our 3 year old. We ordered a few bakery items and their sandwiches and everything was so delicious. Their cookies are crunchy and delicious (I got the chai and the lavendar ones, as well as a love square). My son loved their lemon square. We got the hot dog, salmon sandwich, and pesto turkey sandwich. All of which were so yummy. The two women on the staff were amazing and put up with our chaotic ordering. There weren’t many seats and a lot were high tops but the one shorter table worked well for us. If you have a larger family, with younger kids, I may recommend take out. But this isn’t a deal breaker since we had planned to take out and last minute stayed...
I have always loved this bakery, but yesterday I tried their meatball lunch, and let me tell you it was so good I could have cried. It was simple, but seasoned PERFECTLY. If you want the meatballs, they only seem to serve them one Friday a month, and you should preorder them because they might sell out. Their pastries are not too sweet, which I love, and their desserts are perfect. I haven’t tried their bread yet. Thank you to this bakery for the best meatballs this side of Sweden! (And I’ve been to Sweden, so I know!
Boyfriend and I have been visiting here every Sunday for the past couple months. Love the alternatives to regular donuts and pastries like at Han’s near by. The Nordic and European style of pastry choices makes it easy to experience a new delicious item everytime we come and are never not blown away by every single one. Recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a wonderful pastry they’ve never tried and wants quality ingredients. Also nice to support a locally owned business.
I have to admit that I have not personally been here, but my wife and son LOVE it!! They have been here to get some of the great food they offer, and any time we are in the area they want to stop by and get something. I will have to try it one of these days soon because they love it so much. I still give it 3 Borks (that 's a good thing) because I am 50% Swedish...and any chance to use the Swedish Chef in a review is a win in my book.

Passing through on a family trip and decided to try something different. So glad we did! We basically got one of everything and all had a bite of everything. The orange was everyone's favorite, but everything was delicious. The dough they use has such a great texture--light but with substance. We only regret not getting some of their cookies and fresh bread.
By far one of the best bakeries in the Twin Cities with some truly unique offerings. It’s not just the same old donuts and muffins. The only negative is that their hours make it almost impossible for working people to drop in. If they opened at 8 I would get trays to bring to work during the week.
This bakery is a true gem for the north metro. The care given to producing their products is evident in every item. I've had their pastries and cookies (good coffee too! and I am looking forward to trying their meals. Let's support this wonderful place and try it and then tell your friends!!
Service was amazing, very friendly, 1st time there, I wouldn't recommend the lemon Danish. It had a real unusual taste. The other 4 we tried were better but not to die for.

Love the pastries made here. So many pastries to enjoy not available anywhere else. Traditional Swedish pastries here. Today I had a seasonal Rhubarb Danish.
This bakery is a jewel to Anoka. Their pastries are never TOO sweet. Their food is ample and delicious, always.
