A beautiful culinary experience in a beautiful setting. We’ve had the menu d’Auvergne and re discovered dishes like the magret which were elevated to a different level. Now I just love the Bolivian coriander in starters and desserts! All our dishes were a feast of unknown scents/taste, it was just amazing. The foie gras was out of the ordinary, the Mexican vanilla and noisettes dessert just delicious ???????? On a slightly negative note: my husband being a MS, his critic was that the white wines were of the wrong vintage ie too old a 2017 jurançon, but we had a lovely Quincy. the food was very good, but the service was not as good as in the past. waited too long between the curses, mixed the portion of 2 main courses and served only a glass of wine when we ordered a bottle. the wait of the employee seemed only very inexperienced for a device of this quality and price. a little disappointing and spoils a Christmas family meal. and no excuse or comment when I mentioned that the service was not as good as before, only worried that the meal was good. but eating is the service and eating combined for me.
