Hello everyone, I am from Australia and at the end of May this year 2019 enjoy an exquisite holiday in France and without a doubt The best place where I tasted divine oysters on the palate was in La Baraque a Huîtres de Gujan_Metras, above...all I loved the attention of a young man, Michel is his name that gave me a very professional service, affable and with extreme quality, thanks to his suggestions my experience with you exceeded my expectations, I will definitely return.

We found the Port de Larros on the map and hoped that we would be able to make a detour there for lunch. What a revelation. Sitting outside La Baraque à Huitres in the sunshine we each enjoyed 6 oysters, bread and butter and a glass of well chilled, absolutely delicious white wine. And the cost? 8 euros each. It was, quite simply, the perfect lunch.

We enjoyed a nice dégustation d’huitres on the restaurant’s beautiful terrace by the harbor. Excellent fresh oysters served with a wedge of lemon, fresh bread and a nice white wine: UBY - Cotes de Gascogne. Friendly staff.
