Nice little terrace. Sweet waitstaff. I did have some issues with this place and dinner. Ordered a medium rare butchers choice steak and it came medium well. Person didn't check if everything was okay until 15 min in. Was served the wrong dish Fish was cooked nice, slightly flavorless. There were motion activated lamps that suddenly would light up really bright when people walked past. In total the food was average both me and my partner would rate the food and experience about 5.5/10 It was a bit frustrating as we went for a birthday celebration but this place has potential but currently not there yet.

We were lucky to find this restaurant for Monday evening dinner. The place is lovely and the service&management top class. The staff knew everything about food and had superb wine recommendations, which we were happy to follow. The food surpassed our expectations, it honored the quality of the ingredients. The desserts that are sometimes an afterthought, were delicious with nice twist. A lovely place for a summer evening dinner!
One of the best restaurants in Cognac and away. You can go the eyes closed, nothing to say from the entrance to the dessert and the frame is beautiful and very friendly. Few choices will say but it's gage of freshness and quality products!! The simmers are falling down! Thank you for the service, and my compliments to the chief. Never disappointed, it is a restaurant that is now part of my address book.

Nice restaurant, but the food unfortunately did not correspond to the quality of the environment and the staff. Had a problem with a starter that was corrected, but the most important courses were also decidedly averaged.
Loved la Belle Epoque food excellent, drinks similar. Great range of both, staff were super. Would definitely recommend and come again!
