"Ate here on return from a visit to the Somme. It's attached to the Galway bar (yip in rural France). Decent pizza, which is all they do. For anything else there is a chip shop opposite."

Visited La Bonne Pizz this evening, our fifth visit over 4years not very often....but we do live in England!! We use the little town of Guiness as our first and sometimes last stop on our annual road trips to France. And, la Bonne Pizz is our meal destination of choice, always a warm welcome and a superb tasty fresh pizza and a cold beer. Mika's place has just had a refit and the menu a revamp.... I highly recommend a visit...perhaps more often than outselves, to this hidden brilliant little pizza shop. Tres bon! Magnifique!

We turned up late in Guines to stay at a local hotel to find the restaurant was full so walked into Guines to see what we could find. Guines was mostly closed apart from this pizza take away. The pizzas were good thin crust with fresh toppings, much better than your average dominoes. Better still they sold us a bottle of wine so our evening wasn't a disaster.

We stay in Guines quite often and there are not a lot of places to eat. There are a few tables inside so we could eat in rather than have to take it back to our B&B. Good pizza and friendly service.
