had begun to eat a bit with French restaurants in la plagne quite fast stew lade far too much for beer and spag bol or a burger. the hotel also have French cuisine! then came over this little oasis of...Bergfutter in bellentre! the personal was beautiful and the raclette amazing! polished off a few bottles of excellent wein at a good price finished with genapi and a espresso. superb. a long ski descent and a long lunch before the climb back to la plagne. highly recommended. when you remember us, we were the 5 young two dads and our 3 adult youngs who had all raclette, coffee and napi. thanks!
we had a fantastic evening en famille with 5 children 4 adults. highlights of the meal: fondue (the best ever, and the “cook it yourself on the table” steak. recommend the white wine apré mont. desserts were a hit with the children. the waiting staff was good as soon as they warmed up on this large group of Irish people: it is worth going here when they ski holiday!
We wanted to have a Raclette in Montchavin and La Bovate is the right place for that Huge plate of French charcuterie and incredibly big piece of wonderful cheese (you cannot finish it ! served with steamed potatoes. Very good blueberry pie with cream for...dessert! The personnel was very pleasant and friendly. The restaurant is right in front of the snow tracks
Simply the best restaurant in Montchavin Superb service and the Braserade was excellent We have been coming to Montchavin for 20 years and this is a superb edition to their eating establishments Anthony and his front house team including Jean Pierre go the extra mile...We usually eat at La Bovate at least 3 times during our annual visit Well worth a visit

Wonderful restaurant, food, superb, friendly staff, attentive, accommodating. This was our second visit this week and hoping for another before we leave at the end of the week. Highly recommend this restaurant the best in Montchavin.
We ate here yesterday and after reading tripadvisor we were very curious. But it was all good. The service was fine and fast, we had the pierrade together with the salad,potatoes and fries it was more then enough.
we have chosen to be raclette and steak. service was fast and friendly. the raclette was super and plentiful. we asked for weeping that was beautiful. will definitely come back when in montchavin.
Chilled here with a coffee and blueberry tart a few times, also delicious frites. Had lunch on the terrace one day 19 of us fantastic service and wonderful food!
