We had read about this little bistro and wanted to eat here. It was a very warm October day, perfect for eating out, and shaded by direct son of countless umbrellas. The brasserie has a good menu, something please just about everyone. We both ordered salads, both were delicious and were accompanied by good bread. My salad had many walnuts and ham, my husband had a caprese salad, both were thrilled. We had salads so we could have dessert. This was my first experience with Cafe' Gourmand, and I'm a converter! Coffee with tiny samples of all Desserts total WOW. My husband had the walnut taste, and it was also delicious. We loved our time in this castle and this brasserie.

As mentioned by others it's located inside the grounds of Josephine bakers chateau Milandes. An excellent spot to sit in the shade and get some well earned refreshments and all within easy view of the chateau and its gorgeous architecture. And made all the better on our visit by the madam who reminded me of Catherine Deneuve!Tres belle!

Sunny, but shaded terrace and a relatively large menu with vegetarian options are more than expected in a tourist view. In addition, the food tasted good, at least burgers, goat cheese salad and walnut cake. All in all a pleasant surprise especially as a service was efficient... on a busy day
