Upon arrival, we were greeted with a question about whether we had made a reservation rather than a welcoming hello. The restaurant had a posh atmosphere but was surprisingly empty. The menu had a good selection, but not everything was available. The waiter made faces when we asked to substitute items, which was puzzling since he wasn't the one preparing the food. Ultimately, we decided to leave. The fact that there were only two tables occupied during a Sunday lunch should raise concerns for the manager. As a fellow manager, I will not be returning to or recommending this establishment.

Waiters still behaving like covid is still spreading like crazy with all of them wearing masks still ect. Food average and sauces served in little plastic tubs like McDonald's and burger King. Poor quality.
Hadn't been for a few years and were looking forward to going back unfortunately the service was slow and the food not up to its past high quality, restaurant wasn't overly busy, yes very disappointed.

Traditional Italian restaurant, good food, experienced, friendly staff, a function room upstairs in an historical building all at reasonable prices and right by a large pay car park.
Excellent food service. My first visit but will be going again. Good lunchtime deal of £10 for 2 courses. I went with 6 friends all the meals looked great as did the desserts.
I had a delicious meal at this restaurant last night. The food was excellent and the service was superb. I highly recommend giving it a try.
