This modest Cafe on a quite street proved an absolute winner for breakfast each day during the 5 days in Sydney. The variety on the menu and the quality was outstanding, not to mention the serving sizes ranged from "more than adequate to huge" and delicious. Cannot fail to mention the friendly, professional staff where nothing was a trouble... so rare to find such a team... well done.Recommend La Buvette for Breakfast or just a quick bite and coffee.
This is a busy and friendly cafe with mainly outdoor seating but on a sunny day it is a very nice place to sit, eat and people watch on this corner in Potts Point. This was our first taste of Sydney life and we stopped here for a light lunch after a walk round the Potts Point/Kings Cross area which has many art deco buildings and is a welcome contrast to the modern buildings going up in Sydney. Cost of lunch 113.80 AU$.
First meal in Australia, we'd just arrived after travelling for 24hours and this restaurant was recommended by our hotel. The bacon and egg panini was fabulous and the French toast was a massive portion of two thick slices with syrup. My partner added bacon and that was also a large portion. Cost for 3 with coffee/tea each was $68.
La Buvette is very straight-to-the-point dining. Its simple and clean cut cafe fare, and executed extremely quickly. The efficiency of moving crowds here is impressive and essentially seamless. 90% of dining is outdoors yet not cramped. The coffee is average yet acceptable. Staff extremely friendly Book a table now
My family was exhausted after arriving in Sydney from the U.S., it was the day after Christmas, we were starving and nothing was open - we walked and walked! We were grateful to find La Buvette for our first meal and everything was fantastic, from the food to service - very warm and friendly.
We ate here every day as it was so good, there was no need to try anywhere else. Friendly staff, great coffee, difficult to choose from menu. There are specials too. There is seating inside, but we chose to eat Al Fresco even in winter.
Delicious French style cafe with a relaxed atmosphere. Service is friendly and efficient. Food fresh and tasty. Great array of fresh juices and smoothies as well as the usual breakfast offering. Worth a visit when browsing the area.
Potts Point is a gorgeous older neighborhood of Sydney and I shouldn't feel surprised to find great little cafes tucked around every corner. Book a table now
