My husband and I had a couple of glasses of wine here during our recent week long stay in Chinon. The owner is pleasant and can offer some note-worthy local vin options. The place is certainly well located and fuss free. Some local beer brews a can also be purchased to drink there or take away. One of the owners is French Canadian and speaks English quite well.

beautiful palette of bottles of local producers with cocasses labels in a nice atmosphere. wine bar frequented by locals with a nice atmosphere. the charcuterie board kept its promises (black turkey, ash goat.) we boarded a bottle of chinon called "the highs and the bottoms" ; She deserves her name.
Sat in the street seats taking in the vibe of a pleasant Summer's evening; a music festival about to start. Great wine served by a super pleasant waitress who was more than helpful. Food menu is not for the faint hearted as it's a little adventurous. Good experience, recommended. Book a table now
very good reception, excellent wines, very good advice and a plate of cutlery and cheese accompanied by very good bread to accompany local wines that can be enjoyed with glass on the terrace. What more? We loved it so much that we came back the next day.
In such a wonderful wine region good beer is hard to find. However the owner of LCV is also passionate about beer imports a limited but excellent selection from her native Quebec. Definitely worth a visit for a glass of wine or beer
