An attractive restaurant in the heart of Saverne’s High Street, it has some outside seating on a decking area at the front and is covered in hanging baskets of flowers. Inside it’s a good size covering two floors and has a cosy ambience with wooden beams on the ceiling and a cuckoo clock on the wall. The menu offers a good selection of dishes, although there is no English version available. We were on a stop-over on a longer trip doing some sightseeing and looking for Dinner, and this restaurant was really nice. Located in the middle of the village, parking on a place directly in front. Most attractions of Saverne just a small walk away, and a really special place: The restaurant is in a really old house, well maintained, with really excellent food. Our sun felt as if this could be "too formal" on the 1st impression, but they had even a children menu and were really friendly. So, a big recommendation if you're in Saverne if you're looking for good local food and you're willing to pay a bit for a nice environment.

Found this wonderful, super friendly, quaint Alsatian cuisine restaurant on our way to Selestat from Paris. Stopped here in Severne for dinner and found a beautiful, quaint restaurant with the nicest, most personable, local new friends who helped us order (no English speaking servers or translations here). Our dinner consisted of a huge platter of savory meats, sausages, duck confit, cured and braised pork which our new friends ordered on our behalf and a wonderful Riesling. Plentiful and satisfying and very sweet. A memorable experience.
