This is a very nice little place to sit and sample local wines and cheeses. Tables outside which makes for very pleasant relaxing athmosphere. Wine by the glass or bottle and a cheese plate of local cheeses....not expensive but could sit there for a long time....

here we felt very comfortable two nights. monsieur speaks English and German; is very friendly and has great knowledge of the law. his open wines were excellent; but a local beer is offered. great but the sausage - and the cheese plate, together with fresh bread.
the card is very rich (in quality products), the drinks offered are at very modest prices and the boss is obviously a great connoisseur passionate about his profession. an excellent address.
Très beau choix de Chinon et au dela . De bon conseils et on y boit un verre relax avec plaisir. Possibilité de se restaurer aussi , planches etc . Prix corrects
