very arrogant, lack of service and average food. we were a family of london. sitting in the apartment. they may say about minutes until someone came to us. we are informed that all menus were online at this point. before we were completely...I ignored it was busy for a Tuesday! but honestly, that must have been the most arrogant reception I received in frankly, and we always go to frankly. eating was good, not the best, but it was good. the final touch, ordered a tiramisu au petit beurre, which my man does not like, as it tasted from dry cookies and cream. that is a different recipe, so different from the Italian that is more of liqueur and coffee. the waitress had offered something else, an...
The restaurant is a bit unusual in several aspects: tables are set at multiple balcony-like levels, the menu has the bourgogne classics as well as pizza, and the staff are all very,young. And it works perfectly: service was swift and professional, our food (boeuf bourgignon...and grilled veal) was of good quality and in generous servings. The wine list had a good selection of burgundy from to euro; the Givry at euro we had was very nice. We had a satisfying dinner and it was certainly good value.
as tourist, my partner and I stayed in this restaurant and was welcomed by an Australian waitress friendly. her French is excellent, but mine is very basic, so she served me in English, which would normally not happen in France! she was so warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. she really welcomed us. we enjoyed a cursor meal that was delicious, and the atmosphere was really nice. we will definitely return when we are back in the opposite.
we've been dining here recently. eating was delicious, some great local choices, not a huge menu, but a good variety pizza. we met the now famous Australian waitress, so beautiful to hear an Australian accent, but the rest of the staff was extremely helpful and unbearable to our lack of French. we'd be back next time. good priced menu and great wine on the glass.
