We have been skiing in Val Cenis for many years and one of the attractions is lunch and refreshments at the Crepe des Glases. The vin chaud blanc is a special treat and as for the crepes Mmmm. The open air cafe is sited...on the piste and whilst you can access it on foot, it is very much a day time venue. Note also, that its sunny position means that the snow will have melted by mid March which is when it normally closes.
My family and I stopped here for lunch twice. It was an excellent place to stop and refuel. It was great value for money a big bottle of water 1.50, small beer 3, can of Coke 2.50, chips 4.50, hot dog 4.50 and a salted...crepe and cheese 6 euros. Great views. Definitely a good place to give your legs a rest.
directly on the hang, great view and a large terrace. what is not to like! good eating, good options, reasonable price, it is great for a snack or a complete lunch. the order is a little slow to busy times, but easy to book a table and the...staff are very friendly.
