"Genuinely wouldn’t recommend. Attended as a family and food was universally way below par. Presentation was really bad and the food is near the bottom of worst places I have dined. The staff were absolutely lovely however, very attentive and personable and I feel that corporate are letting them down."

Fistly I would like to say how lovely the staff were and a very nice nice looking restaurant. The wines were priced from £37 up, but thinking that a £37 Grillo should be good opted for that one. Bland I think covered all its flavours. However when my rabbit came with its miriad of very nice mushrooms, I think to cover its appearance. It was very dry, a problem if it is overcooked, and I think chef must have attacked it with a machette judging by the little bone splinters running all through the dish. All in all a disappointmentand certainly not worth the high price they think they deserve

Really not worth spending any money here. Pizza was terrible and barely cooked. Staff need more training, one literally took our dessert plate before we could even finish our food. Only booked here because 2 people in the group finished golf later than anticipated and it was easily located in the hotel. I wouldn't recommend and would definitely not eat again in staying at Fairmont Hotel

Pretty average. Food was good but ambiance left a lot to be desired. Felt we were sitting in a busy airport terminal. This is actually a facility of the hotel not a normal restaurant. Children running about, families with prams and staff constantly rushing backwards and forwards throughout the evening. Definitely not a relaxing dining experience.

Was aware of the distinctly average reviews, but gave this place a chance. Wish I hadn't. For a restaurant attached to or associated with a five star hotel the food was average. The management at the Hotel needs to pay more attention, because there are better Italian restaurants in the majority of Scottish towns than this one.
