The issue with Degust was already present last year. At that time I gave it the the benefit of the doubt, but 2 times it becomes a flow. I hate it when I enter an almost empty place and where I can not sit where I want. This was the issue already in 2017. Back then we manage to negotiate and get a table by the window. This time we were only offered a table by the wall! I can understand when the place is full. But that day we were the second customer inside. The others preferred to sit outside. Moreover a smile by the waitress would make you think you are welcome, even if serving more people means more work. We gave the place a second chance, but this is it.

We stumbled across La Degust while looking for a casual dining place and we're very glad to have found it! There wasn't too many people in but it was a Thursday after 9pm! , the staff were warm and welcoming and helpful throughout the evening. We had a steak tartare to accompany the wines ! which was perfectly prepared and accompanied by sauted potatoes and salad. We have a few wines by the glass the champagne and Crozes Hermitage red were very good and very reasonably priced. The wine list is impressive and the staff knowledeable and open to discuss we will definitely be going back again!

I wine bar with some small dishes. The wine selection is very large, but it is a pity only a small selection can be ordered by the glass. So you have a better choice if you are a small group or 2 couples and order a bottle. As for the dishes, the selection is also small, but nice. Should be enough for such a wine bar if they are renewed regularly. The service is nice and attentive. There are regular customers, which is a good sign.
