I am usually massively underwhelmed by Chinese restaurants on the continent but this one was actually pretty good. We had just got off the train from Bordeaux and it was getting pretty late so decided to play it safe and go to this restaurant as it was still open and showing no signs of closing. The restaurant décor is like a million other Chinese restaurants but that is not exactly a criticism. What I would assume was the owner served us immediately and was very efficient. I had hot and sour soup which was only tenuously a soup as there was that much stuff in it! Again, not a criticism. This is our 1st choice to take everyone to when they visit us. The food is tasty, consistant and always delivers. We have always been seated and served promptly and have sometimes been advised to cut down on our choices as we have done the british thing of ordering too much. How many restaurants would do that???? I 'm equally happy to go there on my own or with a large group. I am treated with the same courtesey no matter how many people there are in the party (or the restaurant)
Customer for 27 years is certainly the best Asian restaurant at 30 km in the round.I recommend it to you in front of the station BERGERAC ,gouter you will see it is something else than the buffets at will. Very reasonable price for the proposed quality.
