I used to go here quite a lot and it always was very pleasant with a good atmosphere created by all the family members who worked here. I may have hit a poor night but the lady who owns it was rushing about with just...one fairly unorganised girl supposedly assisting. The food was very good but there were no menus, just blackboards with fixed price menus on and a very few a la carte dishes ie two starters so if you wanted a starter from a fixed menu there was no clue as to how much that may be! Just a bit of a mess really and as there is so much choice in the area no need to experience it again.
The food is good and the menus (three course) are good value but the restaurateur is a bit miserable sometimes. She was polite and nice but not much fun. Always seemed more mosquito's than anywhere else.
