My family usually gets good from this place every Friday and despite that more often than not their tres leches is expired and they still send it with our order, we were loyal customers up until today. One of my family members called to place an orderlike any other day and was kind to the woman who answered the phone at the Ossining location. Upon informing the lady that theyowed us a tres leches from the last time they sent a spoiled one the manager in charge said they would send it next time weordered) the woman on the phone became very aggressive and rude for ABSOLUTELY no reason. She had no manners and incredibly poorcustomer service. It?s Safe to say we will not be ordering food here ag...

My family usually orders from this restaurant every Friday, and despite the fact that their tres leches cake has often been expired when we receive it, we remained loyal customers until today. One of my family members called to place our usual order and was polite to the woman who answered at the Ossining location. When mentioning that they owed us a tres leches cake from our last order, the manager had stated they would send it with our next order. However, the woman on the phone responded in a very aggressive and rude manner for absolutely no reason. Her lack of manners and poor customer service was surprising. Unfortunately, we have decided not to order from this restaurant again, and we...

One year to date since it opened here in our Historic Village of Ossining, this Peruvian Restaurant is one of three with a common owner in Westchester County, New York. Its repeat customer base is mostly the local business crowd and is religiously faithful and rave about the quality of the food. Wonderful friendly service. Isabel la camarera es eficiente y servicial con sonrisa siempre. Try their soculent and delicious Pollo al forno y el Pescado encebollado con salsa picante on the side. Try the Ceviches it is to live for...

I ordered my meal well ahead of time for a 1:00 PM pickup and specifically asked for no crab in my dish. When I arrived at 12:50 PM, I found out that my order had been overlooked. I reiterated my request to leave out the crab, but I don’t believe they understood me, as none of the staff spoke English. I understand that the majority of their customers speak Spanish, but they should have someone on hand who can communicate in English for other patrons. Unfortunately, my dish ended up having crab in it. Book a table now

I placed a pickup order for 1:00, specifically asking for no crabs in the shell. When I arrived at 12:50, I found out that my order had been overlooked. Although I didn’t restate my request about the crabs, I suspect there was a communication problem since no one on staff spoke English. I understand that most of their customers are Spanish speakers, but they should have at least one person available who can communicate in basic English for other customers. Unfortunately, my order did contain crabs.

Placed an order way ahead of time to be picked up at 1:00. I specifically asked for no crab in the dish. I was there at 12:50 only to find out they forgot to make my order. I reiterated my no crab request but I don?t think they understood as no one therespeaks English. I know their main clientele is Spanish speaking but they should have someone you has a basic understanding ofthe English language for other customers. Needless to say my dish had crab.

They got my order wrong and put shrimp mixed with my chicken dish. I am allergic to shellfish and I made them aware of that. I called to ask if I could get the correct order and I would even give back the wrong order because it was untouched and unopened. They REFUSED to fix the order. The other dish that I ordered was correct but there was a shred of paper or napkin of some kind found inside the rice.

I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but it has definitely deteriorated. The chaufa con camarones was overly greasy and made with low-quality rice. The Jaleah Familiar had no shrimp and was excessively greasy as well, and my once-favorite ceviche was rubbery and served warm. It's just not good anymore. Book a table now

The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would say this is the closest you can get to authentic Peruvian cuisine in the area. I highly recommend it and give it an A+.
