Unusually good for St. Bart's We've owned a villa here for 10 years and we've seen a lot of changes, most not good. It appears there are very few restaurants left that offer great food for a reasonable (for St. Bart's) price. This restaurant is located where the now defunct Wall House used to be. Great decor. Great atmosphere. Great food. But very pricy. Putting that aside, my wife and I found the food to be so good, we went back a couple of nights later and had basically the same meal all over again. La Marea was a big surprise. We visit the area occasionally and the restaurants are fine. La Marea comes from Westchester where we have many to choose from and it definitely falls into that category. The food was outstanding and the place was very welcoming and comfortable. Can't say enough well. You just have to try it yourself.
We had a wonderful dinner last night. The ambience is beautiful over looking the harbour. The staff is very attentive and pleasant. Wonderful drinks. The hummus and charcoal roasted peppers are a must! The spicy prawns were amazing too! I can't wait to go back
Excellent food. The mozzarella and tomato salad was the best I've ever had. Shrimp and scallops over polenta were a wonderful and unique mix of flavors. The menu had a wide variety and the service was wonderful
