A warm balmy evening in Austria in this delightful courtyard set the scene for what I thought was going to be an Italian experience of a lifetime .... Wow.. I was thinking how could it get any better than this ? Such a fabulous ambiance. I was already convinced that I'd found my most favourite Italian eatery in the whole world based right here in Vienna. We visited this restaurant on a recent trip to Vienna but would not recommend it. Firstly, the food was average and therefore not the best value. Secondly, my husband had almost finished his meal before mine arrived (this also happened for the three people at the table beside us). Lastly, when leaving, I asked our waiter should we pay at our table or could we settle the bill on our way out. Though he had answered "either", we were treated VERY rudely by himself and another member of staff, both of whom showed their obvious annoyance that we did not pay at the table. Very good pizza, slightly thicker dough, but far from American style - simply very goodReasonably priced wine - the Amarone for about 40€ per bottle is certainly potableService is friendly and quickThe atmosphere a bit mixed: on the one hand, the large hall with the high ceilings has its charm, but it's not quite as cosy as a small, crowded Italian shack... the simpe tables don't make it any better. That for me is the only small draw-back. Nevertheless I have been back and would gladly go there again
I visited La Mia in November 2016 with 12 friends for a 60 th birthday celebration...the service was outstanding and the food fabulous...we were made most welcome and really well cared for..our group had varying culinary tastes (!) and each person was attended to in a highly professional and friendly way with excellent food outcomes!Would definitely return when next in Vienna

excellent. had both pizzen and garnel. both were excellent. the pizza is really delicious, the garnel was the best I ever had. the spicing was a little picant, but not very sharp, just right. was very good. also the service was very friendly and attentive. the set were all very nice. overall, absolutely recommended!
from the outside this looks very small, but also has a large space with old flair. the waitress was super friendly and eating was phenomenal. the vitello tonnato was a denser, the jakobsmuscheln juicy and the profiteroles tip. the la mia is absolutely worth a visit. I am coming back
In the back of what seems to be a simple pizzeria, you will find an excellent, well designed and cozy restaurant, with great food. In addition, they serve prosecco directly from the tap. You could not ask for more than that.
An easy 5 minutewalk behind the MuseumQuartier, this is a very restful but chic Italian eatery with excellent pizzas. Unfortunately the service was no equal to the food.
