We were here at lunchtime (that’s pm in Spain) and had quite a negative experience. After standing and waiting to be acknowledged, we said we wanted the menu del dia. After minutes, and a request for the menu, the head waiter came to...our table. “Soup or salad?” He asked. We knew there were four options for the primero plato. His rapid fire Spanish was difficult, and when requesting English, my husband was told, “En Espagna.” Okay. I gamely ordered for us. Segundo plato, I ordered the chicken after asking about the fish.
