After arriving in Tampa looked for a place to grab a bite to eat. La Perrera is a Colombian restaurant. Ordered a passion fruit juice made with water and a teaspoon of sugar, delicious. As an appetizer ordered the empanadas, meat patties. Crunchy, tasty, nice texture, accompanied by a variety of sauces i.e. hot Colombian sauce, pineapple sauce, chimichurri, mayoketchup. I alsoordered morcilla or blood sausage with a small corn cake. It was delicate and tender to the palate, however, it was only onesausage. I ordered salchipapa without any meat due to my religious dietary restrictions. We point out about this to the server when we order. I start eating my food, I found a hotdog in my food!! We told the server about this situation and I did not want to continue eating. Because I lost my appetite. The most annoying part was they charge me for the wrong food even though I told them about my dietary restrictions. This was disrespectful. They did not even want to fix their fault. Plus they charge me $2 extra for the lettuce. So basically they charge me more for vegetarian salchipapa(! compared to regular salchipapa price. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all!! Horrible experience!!!
Did not liked the way that the employees were looking at me the moment I walked into the restaurant and got sat down. I waited for around 15 seconds and walked out. The employees at the front looked at me like I was a pest... specially a male 5'9ish employee. The experience ruined my appetite ???? To be honest I would expect this for a fast food service notrestaurants Shame that a the restaurant has amazing food but the staff leaves to be desired.
Terrible attention from the Pick up Employee, she told me 5 minutes to complete my order, I waited 15 and when I complained because she was serving other customers, she told me rudely that I was not the only one there... It's not The first time you have to wait longer than usual, they like to cheat with the waiting time, it's my time!

10 of us food came out for 3 10 minutes later 2 more got food 7 min 3 another 7 min for the final dishes. Food was overcooked no flavor difficult to eat. plantains were dry uneatable. Save your money.
It's a shame how the employees are making this place look very bad. The waiters give terrible service, too late and to make matters worse, the tip is included in the bill when they do not deserve it.
I will not be coming back to this restaurant because some of the dishes were undercooked and the service was very poor. The attitude of some of the waitstaff was unacceptable.
I have never had an issue with this restaurant before, but today my burger was served ice cold and the fries were also cold, despite ordering them there.

The food at this restaurant is plentiful and tasty. I love coming here for a post-party meal.
