had a solo dinner here after an unexpectedly long difficult train ride. it is an American diner-style place 5 minutes to walk from the main railway station in carcassonne, and remains open all year round (not always the case in a large summer tourism spot like Carcassonne)....The burgers are excellent, correct bark pattie 'steak hâchés', with many different menu options and different sauces. all with frits included. they also make a good chickenburger, plus a very good vegetarian option (which I was insured by passengers.) service is discreet and pleasant. it is also quite good wfm for carcassonne, especially since portion sizes are good. as a female soloist, I would like to eat here again i...
We found this "transport cafe " thanks to other wonderful trip advisor users. We were dropped off at this delightful place on the way to the airport. We were early for lunch, 11am but this was no problem. He had a burger, all home made, even the bun, and I had a dozen oysters!! Can you imagine?!! And wine. When we arrived we were seated by a charming lady and given the daily papers and a coffee. The place was spotless. This is a posh garden shed, with zero emphasis on the posh. No loo till next year so they let me wash my hands in the kitchen. Also spotless. It was a 15 minute walk to the airport.Fabulous. I'm sure they would not mind dogs. Enjoy.
We came across this delightful restaurant whilst shopping for furniture. What a surprise! Helpful, friendly patron; nothing was too much trouble. Everything is homemade, including the bread and sauces. We had a simple merguez brochette with home made chips, cooked in duck fat. Yummy! Incredible value, too. We will return.
after many paintings on the way to the city. the visit worth. friendly reception with the place made for halloween. both burgers were very tasty and supported by a fair amount of frit. very busy on a Thursday night. in the october and cheap night outside. will go again.

Popped in here as it was advised on a few sites. Didn’t disappoint. Lovely meals and all the party (and veggie wife) went home well pleased. Waiting staff were really friendly and added to the night. Well worth a visit
