If you are going to visit Château de Chenonceau than Hôtel Restaurant La Roseraie is a great place to stay. The hotel is walking distance to the Château and the restaurant (we ate dinner and breakfast there) is excellent. The rooms are what you would expect from a small hotel in a historic village where each room has it's own shape and layout. No cookie cutter rooms here!
Perfect for visiting the Château de Chenonceaux, the hotel is 5 minutes from the entrance! The setting is really good, private parking and closed in the evening by a gate, swimming pool available to cool down, the menus of the restaurant are varied and the staff is listening to their guests. I strongly recommend. Thank you!
The staff is very welcoming and available. It does not force on sale what is appreciable because quite rare nowadays. Accessible parking. The hotel’s setting is very pleasant and charming. Cherry on the cake, the castle is 5 minutes walk away. So you don't have to take the car back. I recommend without hesitation.
Service is a little slow. Eating takes. But if you take time, it's worth it. Rooms are excellent compared to other accommodations nearby.
