This was a cool find in Freo at the end of the main strip. It is an old converted warehouse and the ambiance was spot on apart from being a little noisy. My husband and I came for dinner with another couple and we all ordered pasta (how could you not!). I definitely won with ordering and had the pasta, pesto and prawn in the main size. It was AMAZING! My husband ordered the beef ragu and that was pretty yummy but could of had more parmesan. We shared creme brulee for dessert and it had a perfectly crusty top. The service was great. La Sosta is slightly on the expensive side but worth it for a yummy meal. If I came back I would order the same dish which says a lot as I love trying new things!

Very disappointed with this place. First and last time visiting. My boyfriend and I went there for a date and both ordered pasta. Both of our pasta was undercooked. My boyfriend ordered the ravioli and the serving size was ridiculously small with hardly any sauce. It was that small that we when we left he got another meal on the way home. I ordered the lamb Ragu parpadelle and mine was also undercooked and did not have a lot of meat or flavour. For the price we paid, we were expecting 5 star food and it was not. The service was also terrible. We were sat outside, the waiters would only ever come out to deliver food to ordering drinks and catching there attention was very hard.
Went to la sosta and the waiter was an absolute legend! Service was great except for when they got main and entree dishes mixed up. Then we waited for 15 minutes for two dishes and everyone else of the group had finished. Ok they took one meal off but at the same time the kitchen should be belted around the scone not sending out entree meals instead of main meals plus lateness of the dishes

The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly! Much better than overrated bread in common or illido. Please make sure you order a melting chocolate moment! The whole experience of eating it was unforgettable!
