this little restaurant is tucked away in a small street near the church in Issoire and although it does not look special, we had a great meal. There are set menus from 25 euros with a couple of choices for each course. We had the...most wonderful smoked salmon and rocket starter, with very generous amounts of salmon, then tender slices of pork with a helping of mixed vegetables, then a delicious raspberry tart with zesty citrus sorbet. The waitress was friendly and attentive and took the trouble to give us tips on which wine would suit our food best. I would really recommend this restaurant.
We were here for lunch. Since they had a few tables left on their terrase we had the luck to sit outside on a beautiful day. The terras has not much charme - but you enjoy the fresh air and the sun...We chose the "menu du jour" with a salmon tartare as apetizer and then a dish of plaice with nori algue and crispy vegs. To go with this we had their white Viognier. All was excellent. The service was very good. The food was the best we've had this week in France. I'd recommend this place and will return on my next visit in Issoire, a lovely town in the center of the Auvergne.
Popped in for lunch - as well as a set menu at €16 the full carte was available, which had menus at €29, €39 and above. Last spot on the terrace was in full sun but we chose it over going indoors. Sun passed over the gap between the awning on the terrace and the roof opposite very fast, so not totally scorched! We were offered an english translation of the menu if we wanted. Good food, well presented, timely arrival. The cold draft Leffe also hit the spot as it was a toasty day!
very simply a perfect dining experience. An absolute delight, high quality without pretentions, here is a chef who takes real pleasure not only in excellent food but in creativity and presentation. The staff were efficient and charming. Decor chic, calm atmosphere. Only one question, When are you moving to Paris ? We need more restaurants / chefs like this.

En route from Orleans to Montpellier we stopped for lunch at this restaurant we had visited before (Well worth the detour off the motorway). We all enjoyed the set menu for 16.50 Euros. Fantastic value and superb quality, family very friendly staff (Strongly recommend you book in advance as we got the last table at 12:10 pm).
Came here for dinner with family friends and all 7 of us where delighted with the €25 menu. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who welcomed us with a tasty capsicum gazpacho mise en bouche. The 4 courses which followed were perfectly cooked,...tasty and plated with artistry. A real find!

We dropped in for diner on a Friday night without a reservation and were lucky to get a table. Dishes were creative and tasty. Menues were great value for money, with nice wine from the open bottles. Very friendly staff. All in all a very good experience.

Very nice little bistrot with a delicious lunch menu at 16€ with Lieu noir au Safran, Supreme de volaille purée maison and to finish Peche rotie et glace au yaourt. Good selection of wine by the glass. We will try it for dinner.
we ate here while passing through Issoire and found a lovely local restaurant where the food is the focus. Nothing too fancy or cheffy but beautiful food served in a friendly atmosphere
