a very friendly chef who produces very beautiful and very good dishes. We took the truffle menu in euros. The room is cut in two. less noise, but less sociability. Service is a little weird, not very playful. For example, wooden inner flaps are closed and this makes a fun effect. The server tells us it's dark. We know that. the wines anjou and loire very correct at good prices. worries are a bit truffle, very slightly dossy, not unforgettable what! That's what stars deserve.
The charming hotel of the same name is comprehensively let down by its in-house but independent) restaurant, now labelled as La Table de Mestre. While the dishes in its 3-choice, 3-course menu €32) are flavoursome, if small portions, and well presented, the wine by the glass, €7-€9) is very poor and the service is absolutely glacial. Bring a good book. And if you don’t have one, you will have plenty of time to write one. Avoid at all costs.
