This restaurant wasn't on my shortlist to visit but I walked past it on the way from my hotel to the centre of town; it's a couple of minutes from the inner ring road but worth the visit. Felt very welcome in a place with a modern feel and chose from a fixed price menu 24 euros for two courses. The first was a duck/potato terrine with chutney and other accompaniments delicious and then I had a pork casserole which had bags of flavour. I didn't need a dessert although they looked very good. Service was a nice balance between attentive and laid back. Nice glass of Bergerac too.
Service salle impeccable sans fioriture mais sympathique. Présentation des assiettes, digne d'un restaurant étoilé, les produits sont de qualité et excellemment cuisinés, beaucoup de saveur, avec produits de saison. Petite touche finale, le chef est présent à la fin du repas. Une petite remarque, la couleur des murs un peu froid à notre goût. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Un adresse à découvrir! La table de Sophie c 'est un couple sympathique et complémentaire (Sébastien aux fourneaux). Les produits sont frais. La cuisine est très bonne. La présentation est très travaillée (Cf.photos). Enfin les tarifs sont intelligents . Ps: ne vous arrêtez pas au cadre, allez goûter pour vous faire un avis objectif! This is hands down, one of the best restaurants in the area, if not the best. Everything from the service to the wine list, to the very last bite of the evening, is absolute perfection. It doesn't have the wow factor in appearance, but the quality of the food you get definitely merits to be served in a castle. We loved it so much that we had to go back for a srcond go the next day, before leaving the city

Nous avons passé un agréable moment entre filles à la table de Sophie. Cependant pour y avoir déjà mangé il y a quelque temps la carte donné envie que l'actuelle. Belle découverte, plats originaux et présentation flatteuse. Belle terrasse semi ombragée et parking attenant, tout cela à 2 pas du centre historique. Une cuisine ainsi que des saveurs exceptionnelles et très créative.... Un accueil chaleureux . Nous étions 4 et nous avons adoré.
