La Table du Cantemerle

This was the worst food experience we have ever had on any of our dozen trips to France. We ordered off the regular and special menu and both of us left most of our main meal uneaten. The risotto was actually brown whole grain rice,...the shrimp were broiled and unseasoned and the peanut sauce which was smothered over the rice and shrimp tasted terrible. My husbands Mediterranean fish was buried in a creamy potato mash that literally buried the fish in the potatoes taking away any pleasure in eating a local fish. It too was tasteless. For this dining disaster we paid 96 EU comparable to the cost of our Michelin starred dinner in Tourettes Sur Loup where we treasured each bite. The choice is...

Had a great meal here while staying at the hotel when we couldn’t be bothered going out and what a great experience. Service was excellent, swift without being rushed and the food just delicious all in the tranquil surroundings of the hotel pool area ...garden. The confit salmon starter was delightful I paid the additional supplement for the fillet steak which was like butter, well worth it! My wife had the fish off the specials menu for her main which she claimed was probably the best fish dish she’d ever had! It wasn’t cheap, but we felt it was money well spent.

What a lovely tranquil setting. We had a fab meal and excellent Service. The fish soup which we started the meal was wonderful This was followed by oysters and prawns as many as you wanted The hot fish and joules were also delicious and the...dessert was excellent also. A great buffet meal

Good food, very relaxing and calm surroundings. Attentive staff, warm food and plates. Breakfast was ok with a lot of different French cheeses, goat yoghurt and fresh fruits.
