On our last day of the short trip to Marseille, we thought that we should splash out on a good bouillabaisse (having read previously that we shouldn’t try anything cheaper than 50 euros). So I was browsing the Tripadvisor and other sites and reading the reviews before booking via Fork. This restaurant is very small and just a couple of steps off the Vieux Port promenade. It’s not cheap but everything we tried was absolutely worth the money. We took bouillabaisse but also ordered 6-dish discovery menu and shared everything between us. They have an English menu which was a bonus. Stephanie, the waiter, was very friendly and the food was coming promptly. Don’t miss!

Strongly recommended A quick check on Trip Advisor ,while on the quayside of the Old Port ,indicated that this restaurant was strongly recommended. Service and the quality of food was outstanding,a real treat.I chose the six course menu which at Euro 60 I considered reasonable compared to current inflated prices in France having paid Euro 42 for a risotto just a couple of nights previously.Located just off the quayside, the proprietors have to offer one thing a bit special to attract customers so,in my opinion, they have succeeded.I would happily return.

A small and charmingly run bistro just slightly off the main pier in the old town. While they have several options of tasting menus, my wife and I decided to order a la carte and were delighted with the mushroom tart, the bouillabaisse and the risotto with langoustines. We finished with warm chocolate cake that oozed molten chocolate and vanilla ice cream. All paired with a bottle of Bandol. Staff were exceptional and while this wasn’t inexpensive it was definitely worth every euro!

We ate here one evening. So amazing we went back the second evening. We had the decouverte menu on our first visit- brilliant value. When we went back my husband had the bouillabaisse menu and I had a la carte. Mussels and risotto gorgeous. Everything really beautiful. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.
